A League In Turmoil

With an announcement made yesterday, co-Commissioner Michael "Danger" Taylor announced he would be leaving the league at the end of the year. "I need to focus on school, and my girlfriend...Also im not really happy about what this league has become. Stretched out play weeks, constant bickering, annoying owners, and games that may(or may not) have been adjusted in favor for certain teams." says Taylor. Taylor, who is also the owner of the Defending Champion Las Vegas Aces shocked the MLF world with his announcement.

Quebec owner Neil Lommel also announced that he will likely not return as owner of the Polaires, essentially leaving 3 franchises without an owner at the end of the season. Many other people have shown interest in owning a MLF team and we shall see which owners will be commanding teams next year.

Controversy in Quebec

When the Gladiators took on the Polaires in Week 5 action, once again the two teams played an extremely close game decided on the last play. Koren Robinson caught what was ruled on the field as a touchdown and not reviewed by the booth. The Polaires were outraged by the lack of a review on the play, as Robinson caught the pass with :00 on the clock.

Albuquerque 47s Up For Sale?

There have been many rumors floating around that the Albuquerque 47s may be up for sale after the current MLF season is over. There are many things that this could mean, one of them being the MLF's only winless franchise may be on the move. New prospective owners may be looking at cities such as Los Angeles, Lincoln, Omaha, Orlando, Richmond, or Norfolk just to name a few. If NEW.ERA.PANDA does decide to give up his ownership in the team, I don't know if being a prospective owner I'd rather have a new expansion team or the 47s weak roster.
